The Williams Trophy is a prestigious honor given by the Washington Airports Task Force (serving Dulles and Reagan National) every year to recognize those whose "Leadership, Vision, and Dedication in the Application of Aviation or Space Enriched the Quality of Life on Earth."  The Williams Trophy was established in 1996, and some of the greatest names in aviation have been given the award since its inception, and this year it was no different.  Chairman, President, and CEO Gary Kelly; VP Operations Coordination Center Jeff Martin; and the Southwest Airlines Team were honored for their commitment to training our Pilots and retrofitting our aircraft for Required Navigational Performance, the cornerstone of the Next Generation Air Traffic Control system.
