For the third year in a row, Southwest Airlines was recognized for our exemplary candidate experience as a top honoree in the Candidate Experience Awards, sponsored by The Talent Board. In the 2019 survey process, candidates rated their experience with Southwest as 7th overall and 2nd in the “Large Company” category.
In true Southwest fashion, our Talent Acquisition folks aren’t resting on their laurels. They’re focused on strategic initiatives to continue to improve the candidate experience. We are providing information at your fingertips 24/7 with an automated chat capability, so you can search and receive answers to questions you might have whenever it’s convenient for you.
We continue to focus on reaching students at a younger age to inspire careers in aviation, hosting three separate “Aviation Days” for 3rd-8th graders in select locations.
We launched Destination 225° pathway programs to lead aspiring Pilots to Southwest Airlines.
