Those of you who know me understand that I am nuts about Southwest Airlines. Every chance I get I sing their praises. Tomorrow I will be flying Southwest Airlines to San Antonio where I will be co-presenting the La Salle University case study on educational branding later in the week. Of course I will use that opportunity to mention Southwest Airlines as a best practice in brand building, and its relevance to a college or university brand. No organization gets social networking more than Southwest Airlines, and no one does a better job of championing their brand through social media than Paula Berg, Manager of Emerging Media at Southwest Airlines. Recently I connected with Paula through twitter and asked if she would be a guest blogger and share with us what it means to be a brand champion for Southwest Airlines.
