Saturday, May 26, is Denver’s fourth annual Denver Day of Rock presented by Concerts for Kids, a nonprofit organization that puts on musical events and distributes the proceeds to children’s charities in the Denver area. Southwest Airlines is proud to be a stage sponsor at this great event that will bring more than 20 bands to 16th Street for a free day of rock in downtown Denver!

We want to bring YOU in for the fun! So in the spirit of rockin’ out, we’re asking our Customers to show us how they “Rock in the Community”.   At Southwest Airlines, we LUV to Give Back by volunteering in the communities we serve.  Show us how you make a difference in your community by sending a photo of you volunteering at your favorite nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.  In the Tweet you send to the @SouthwestAir Twitter account, use the hashtag #DenverDayofRock, and be sure to list the organization name, include your best photo, and use your remaining 140 characters to tell us what you do to make a difference at your favorite charity!

If your volunteerism rocks enough for us, you can win two VIP passes to Denver Day of Rock, a two-night stay at The Oxford Hotel, and of course, we’ll fly you to Denver for free!

The fabulous Oxford Hotel is also throwing in complimentary valet parking, and a choice of a 50-minute massage or 50-minute facial at The Oxford Club Spa & Salon for each guest.

Again, submit your entry to the @SouthwestAir Twitter account using the #DenverDayofRock hash tag. Southwest Airlines will have a panel of highly-qualified judges who know all there is to know about making a difference in the community.  They know they’re stuff. So warm up that camera and show us how you ROCK Your Community!
