Southwest Airlines is celebrating its new International Connect Service with airline partner Volaris with an exciting promotion.  For TODAY only, our Customers can sip Corona on the house.  You read it correctly--Southwest Airlines is providing free Coronas on all its flights nationwide.  This promotion will only last one day and is available while supplies last.

And the celebration doesn’t stop there.  Customers flying Southwest through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) should visit Gate 4B where Mariachis Estrella will perform traditional “Rancheras” from 1:00 to 3:00 pm PST.

Southwest Airlines announced last month its new Mexican connecting service that allows Customers to book international flights by connecting with Volaris, Mexico’s second-largest airline. Customers can book service from 20 Southwest cities to four Volaris Mexican destinations (Guadalajara, Morelia, Toluca/Mexico City, and Zacatecas.)  The new service will connect through Los Angeles International Airport, Oakland International Airport, and San Jose International Airport and will create over 40 roundtrip flight itineraries.

Volaris has also commenced new daily service from Chicago Midway to Guadalajara, Mexico this week and Southwest plans to make this flight available on southwest.com by December 23.  Additionally, connecting service from many of our northeast airports will have connecting service to Guadalajara sometime in the first quarter of 2011.  Stay tuned!
