A short 30 miles outside of Austin lies a hidden gem steeped in music history called Luck. When country music legend, Willie Nelson, first saw the property in 1979 during the filming of the famous film, “Red Headed Stranger,” he wanted to preserve and uplift the rundown ranch. As the years passed, Willie used Luck as a gathering place for friends and family to relax, to hang out, and to listen to good music. Today, the property has been redesigned by an experience-based collective that is determined to uphold the musical traditions of Luck’s past. Each year they host a live musical experience on the property, a festival which has cheekily been coined, Luck Reunion.
Luck Reunion celebrates both trailblazers and up-and-coming artists showcasing their Americana-flavored sound. Each year thousands descend upon Willie Nelson’s Luck, TX ranch in March, looking for fresh new music.
