Holiday Cheer Abounds at the Southwest Porch in NYC

The following is guest written by our friends at Bryant Park, the home of the Southwest Porch in New York City. We’re getting into the holiday spirit at the Southwest Porch! Our holiday movie screening series is back by popular demand, but bigger and better than ever. Pick up a warm drink, stake out a stool around one of the Porch’s two firepits, and join us for movie screenings, paper ornament making, and an extra special event on December 22nd. All events start at 5:30pm. Here’s the schedule and all the details in their festive glory. Tuesday, December 15: Home Alone “KEVIN!” Quote every line of this holiday favorite while learning how to make paper ornaments. Monday, December 21: A Charlie Brown Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas! A double header of 1960s classics, beloved by all ages. Paper ornament making too! Tuesday, December 22: TV Holiday Episode Marathon, presented by ATX TV Festival Relive the best hilarious holiday episodes of New Girl and How I Met Your Mother, plus watch the brand new holiday episode of Brooklyn 99. As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll be able to enter onsite for a chance to win free passes to the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas in June 2016, with free air travel courtesy of Southwest Airlines®. Full contest info and rules below. Wednesday, December 23: A Christmas Story Your last chance to enjoy a festive favorite, and make paper ornaments! ATX TV Festival and Southwest Airlines Contest: All entries must be made onsite between 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. One entry per participant. Winner will be notified by email on Wednesday, December 23, 2015.
