“In the music industry, it’s all about songs, and some of the best songs come from Nashville.” —Morgan Evans, Musician

Photo by John SchweikertPhoto by John SchweikertWhile traveling on his U.S. tour in support of his latest album, Things That We Drink To, Morgan Evans trusts Southwest® to get him to his next gig. The Australian singer-songwriter is able to easily check his equipment when flying from city to city, and since guitars fly free,* he can bring his beloved instrument onboard with him. Prior to his current tour, Morgan wowed fans with a performance at 35,000 feet. The concert was part of Southwest’s ongoing Live at 35® series, which brings artists onboard for surprise inflight shows. Check out Southwest.fm/live-at-35 to watch the performance. We look forward to watching you rise to new heights with your career, Morgan!

Crowd-Pleaser “I’m excited to perform my single ‘Day Drunk’ while I’m on tour with Rascal Flatts this summer. It’s a fun song to play in front of crowds because they can really feel the energy.”

Beach Bound “I grew up on the coast [in Australia] and love to surf, so I’m always looking to get back to the coast any chance that I get.”

Offstage “I rack up Rapid Rewards® points traveling for work and use them for vacation. I like to spend time with my wife [Kelsea Ballerini] and disappear for a bit.”
