Growing up in southern Wisconsin, spring was definitely my favorite season. It meant that the snow was finally melted, the robins returned from the south and it was time for baseball! As a kid, the Milwaukee Brewers were always on the TV or radio at our house.
The best part about being a Brewers fan as a kid was going to a game at County Stadium each summer. My dad would pack up the station wagon with our grill, cooler, and chairs, and we’d head to Milwaukee. I’m not sure which was more fun, the tailgate before the game or the game itself.
Things have changed a lot since those days and beautiful Miller Park has replaced County stadium but seeing the Brewers is still a huge summer pastime in Wisconsin. Southwest will now share in that passion as the Official Airline of the Milwaukee Brewers!
