It’s that time of the year again. You’re shopping for some of the most innovative, passionate, and determined individuals in your life. Entrepreneurs are go-getters, and they understand how to achieve more and earn what they want.

So, what can you possibly gift them that will not only satiate that dreamer mentality but also help them further their goals? This holiday season, travel is the #1 gift you can purchase for the entrepreneur in your life because it can not only fulfill them personally but also professionally. Keep reading for all the reasons that a Southwest plane ticket or gift cards should be your go-to gift this year.

Why gift an entrepreneur a plane ticket

  1. Personal relaxation: Even entrepreneurs can’t work 365 days a year! Everyone needs the opportunity to take a few days off, and maybe your loved one or friend just needs the push to take some vacation time. Gifting them a plane ticket can be the perfect way to make it easy for them to getaway. Who can say no when the ticket is already in their hands?
  2. Conference attendance: How does anyone get better at what they do? They can meet with like-minded people with diverse interests. Traveling to conferences helps to further business ventures and strengthen their entrepreneurial spirit, but unfortunately, these types of events can be incredibly expensive to fund. Between the plane tickets, hotel rooms, meals, and more, what it takes to stay passionate in their field will end up costing them at the end of the week or weekend. With a plane ticket in hand, nothing is stopping them from discovering their next great idea.
  3. Networking or business purposes: And then there’s the constant need to network or meet with clients. Growing their business and closing deals doesn’t necessarily happen right in their own backyard. If there’s the prospect of business in New York, Washington D.C., Seattle, or Los Angeles, you can bet they’re hopping on a plane. Having the means to travel easily and inexpensively is a must for a budding entrepreneur.
