Early Bird Check In for Companion Pass that’s a child

My daughter is my companion. I selected early bird check in for myself. My daughter is 4. She is on a different confirmation #. Do I need to pay for early bird check in for her or can she board with me if my position is higher than hers?

You did not need to purchase early bird. 

An adult traveling with a child six years old or younger may board during Family Boarding, which occurs after the “A” group has boarded and before the “B” group begins boarding. If the child and the adult are both holding an “A” boarding pass, they should board in their assigned boarding positions.  If you check in and are both A then you would board at the highest number. 

The A group is only 1-60 and there are tipically 143 or 175 seats on the plane.  You will have no problem sitting together.
