I purchased early bird checkin for a flight in October and there is a connecting flight that is also through southwest. Does early bird checkin apply to both flights? Do I need to checkin for the connecting flight as well as the initial flight?
Also, my itinerary says booking class “U” and then the other flight says booking class “C” what does this mean?

Solution
If you booked the connecting flights together (as a Southwest-produced itinerary) then EarlyBird Check In will apply to both legs.
Booking class codes on Southwest are essentially meaningless to the customer.
