Group Flights: Can I check in to a group flight I didn't buy?

I'm flying with my school for an acting competition on Sunday (2/18) and the following Saturday (2/24). Our teacher has purchased the tickets for us as a group flight. After receiving the confirmation# in an update email from her, I searched for the itinerary so my dad could look at the times of when to drop me off/pick me up, but I received this error:

jackbox.pngMy dad told me I should be able to check-in or attach my Southwest RR account to the flight and get the points from it, but this error makes me think differently. If I can't even pull up the itinerary, I'm not sure if I can check in for myself, much less attach my RR account.

Is the professor who purchased the flight the only one who is going to be checking all of group members in? Or is there a way to check myself in?

If it's all under the same confirmation #, only one person will check all of you in. I'd call Southwest and ask if you can add your Rapid Rewards # to the flight so you can earn your points. Have fun!
