I fly southwest occasionally. I have always checked-in online. For the first time I was not able to do online check-in. I got a message that I am not allowed to online check-in and I need proceed to southwest counter at airport to check-in. Their customer service was not of any help. She said the same thing " I am not allowed to online check-in and I need proceed to southwest counter at airport to check-in." Anyone else encounter the same problem?
Apologies for the inconvenience. This most often happens when a Customer attempts to check in less than hour before the scheduled departure time. When that happens, the system will require you to get a boarding pass at the gate. If there was more than one person on your reservation, the system also would not have allowed you to get a mobile boarding pass, so that's another possibility.
