TSA Pre-Check

Lindsey,

How does TSA precheck work if I have a replacement knee?  I know I have to be either patted down or go thru the full body scan.  What about my laptop and belt and shoes?

Hi @ewiesner:

You'll still get the benefits of the TSA PreCheck with respect to your shoes, belt, and laptop. With regards to the knee replacement, our best suggestion would be to alert the TSA Agents at the airport you're flying in and of as each station may handle the screening a bit differently.
