leather working tools

im flying to texas, and was wondering if i could bring some leatherworking tools, such as a swivel knife, witch has a rubber cover for the blade.

You're fine if you put them in your checked baggage. Not so sure about carrying them on. I wouldn't take their risk trying to carry them on.
