Hands for God/Manos por Dios (a disaster relief 501(c)(3)) has been using Southwest now for almost 2 years going back and forth to Puerto Rico (5 trips), being headed by a jobless, homeless, Jewish carpenter called by God to rebuild roofs and rebuild hope in Puerto Rico to those who were affected by hurricane Maria. Still, there are an estimated 30,000 families who are living underneath tarps and there is much more work to do. We applied to the Southwest Airlines Charitable Giving Program but we were not granted any assistance for flights. We are currently reapplying for the flight assistance program.
