You may already know this, but I just discovered it and I thought I would share 😉 There is a variety of forum settings under "My Settings". One of the things that bothered me in the forum threads was that replies were grouped together - for example, a thread may have a 'new' reply on page 2 (of 5) because a person 'replied' to someone's comment on page 2. When a thread is many pages long, this makes finding the new reply more difficult than it needs to be.
You can change this behavior in My Settings - Preferences - Linear Layout - "Linear Format: Sorting order within topics." The default option is "threaded" but there are options for "oldest first" and "newest first". I have it set to "oldest first" so new replies will always be on the last page. I like to read things in chronological order 🙂
