First time flying certificate for child

Hello all!

I've planned a trip for next month and it will be my sonss first flight ever! He's six and very nervous but excited.

I just read an article about a first time flyer certificate that can be signed by the attendants given to them on the flight along with a cockpit tour and pair of wings. While the tour would be cool, I was mainly hoping to score him a certificate as a cool souvenir and maybe to ease his nerves a little. Could anyone tell me how to make this happen?

Thanks so much!

Definitely reach out on twitter (@SouthwestAir) or Facebook if you are connected to Southwest on either of those platforms. Don't send any identifying infomation until they request it in a direct message.

Whether you do that or not, also check with the gate agent when you are at the boarding area and if the operations are working normally they may also be able to help with one or more of these items. Arrive a little early to the gate if possible to allow time.
