Traveling with Cares harness toddler and a 1 yr old in car seat

Just a few questions as this is the first time I've traveled with two young ones before!

I'm traveling with another adult, a toddler using a Cares harness, and a 1 yr old in a car seat. I know that the car seat always has to be in the window seat. However, can I sit the Cares harness toddler in the middle seat, with me in the aisle seat (all of us on the same row)? The 2nd adult will sit across the aisle from us (I think). I would hate to have to sit two in front and two in behind (because there will be a stranger sitting in the aisle seat who would have to deal with a rambunctous toddler and maybe crying baby).

Thanks so much for your help!

Yes, your plan will be fine. I believe requiring the car seat be in the window seat is to prevent it from blocking the quick escape of someone during an emergency. That's not a concern with the harness so it can be used anywhere.
