I have a flight booked. The same date and same flight number is higher when I try to change it on my booking to receive the lower price. I rechecked and the price had not gone up on the flight search website. Anyone else had this experience?

Let's see if I understand what you're asking... You booked a flight, now that same flight is listed at a lower price. You tried rebooking to get the lower price, but it's not working and only let's you rebook at the higher price?
Yes, that's unfortunately a frequent problem, appears to be happening more with Southwest's new reservation system.

Is this for multiple seats? If so sometimes there is one ticket available at the lower price, but if you are buying two tickets together the second ticket can determine the price for both at the next increment.
