Booking a car

Often when I go to book a car through the Southwest site I find that I am unable too. The message I get is:

Sorry, we found some errors...

  • We were unable to process your request right now. Please try again or if you continue to have difficulties, please contact a Southwest Airlines Customer Service Representative at 1-800-I-FLY-SWA (1-800-435-9792).
  • Other than calling their number any other ideas why I get this?
  • I have tryed on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome with the same results.

Hello.

 

Are you getting the error after logging in to your Southwest account and then trying to get a car?

 

You might want to log off your Southwest account and start the process of booking the car and when you are almost done, then log on to your Southwest account

 

Clearing cookies sometimes fixes this type of issue.

Have you tried booking the car on the southwest mobile app? If not I would try that as i have had success booking cars there and you can still use coupons there if you have any. 

 

Also you might be able to call reservations and book the car through them as well.

I have tryed logging in at different points of the booking process with no success and tryed on my tablet and I get the message "downstream service failure".

Guess I need to book the old fashion way with a phone call.
