I recently flew from San Jose to Las Vegas on the 14th of April 2019. Unfortunately, I left my camera (Canon G7x mark ii) on the flight. I've already filed a lost and found report however I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this process and how long it took.

You did the right thing by filing the lost item report! The Southwest team takes this seriously. If the item is found, you'll be notified and it'll be returned. Unfortunately, there are times that other passengers may take the item (with the intention of returning it), and then forget to return it.
Hope it's returned shortly!

@bryan_chen definitely add your serial number to the claim if you have it. The most recent similar lost and found thread indicated about 10 days (they had the serial number for the claim. Here is the link for the other thread:
