Travel days can be pretty long. Quite a bit of time sitting during flight. Hence, to make the experience a bit more healthy, my practice is to NEVER use an airport moving walkway. I wear a fitness band and I enjoy reaching my 10,000 steps per day. Air-travel days are excellent opportunities for fitness and physical activity. Skip the moving walkways at the terminals and just walk! I enjoy it!!!

One time I had a lot of extra time at ATL and put on MapMyWalk and went through every concourse at ATL with a graphical map of hte place on GPS.
It was interesting to see the international hub at the far end, and to see the other restaurants.
That one ended up being about a 10k if I recall correctly.
Home airport MDW, frequent visitor to MCO to see the mouse.
