Open end return ticket

  I'm looking for info on purchasing an open ended return ticket....any suggestions?  I can't seem to find anything on the site

You can purchase a one way ticket for your outbound.  Then you can purchase a one way ticket in the future to come back.

With Southwest there's no advantage or disadvantage to buying one way flights vs a round trip so as @franktravel said, just buy a one way and you can buy the return one way when you're ready.
