I will be traveling to Colorado this month on a ski trip and I read Southwest's policy about Ski/Snowboard equipment but I'm still unsure about my situation. I recently bought a ski/snowboard combo bag that holds both my (1) set of skis and my (1) snowboard along with my ski boots and poles and my snowboarding boots. Will this still count as one of my free checked bags? If not, how will this be counted? I'm flying with one other person, so would I be better off having skis and ski equipment in one bag and snowboard and snowboard equipment in a separate bag and giving my friend one of the bags?
Thanks,
Jimmy
