Travel with a Tivo?

Hi,

I need to bring a Tivo with me on my trip from Texas to Arizona, preferably in some luggage. I know I could ship UPS, but because of timing and my lack of being in a certain place at a specific time for delivery, is not very good. I don't want to alarm TSA or anyone. Any suggestions and can this be done?

Seems like it should fit inside a carryon bag. You might want to remove it from your bag before sending the bag throughout the xray machine, just like you do with a laptop. I've seen people carry on desktop computers without problems and a Tivo wouldn't be much different.

I'll add that if you take it as a carry on TSA may wish to have it out of the box during screening.
