Flight Cancellation

I have a flight booked to Las Vegas in May. The planes scheduled for my flight were not the Maxx 8.  Im afraid of Southwest cancelling my flight anyway. Does anyone know how likely this is to happen, or is Southwest just cancelling the ones that involved the Maxx 8. This is the only time my family can go, so now im worried.

Two different articles I'll link to provide some perspective on flight cancellations.

1. "The carrier [Southwest] is canceling about 130 flights per day out of a daily schedule of around 4,000 flights and is calling off flights about five days ahead.

2. "American Airlines, for example, had most of its 24 MAX jets flying in and out of Miami, where load factors have been full during the Spring Break season.

'We can’t just cancel all of those flights, so the goal is to spread out the cancellations across our entire system to impact the least amount of customers,' American Airlines spokesman Ross Feinstein said."

Many airlines are impacted and they all seem to be trying to minimize the pain for their passengers, they are all just going about it in slightly different ways.
