Belize (BZE) to Denver (DEN) cancellation due to winter storm Jaxon?

Hi there,

We have a flight from Belize to Denver tomorrow and I noticed there was a travel advisory to all flights to Denver, and that flights may be cancelled.

We spoke to a (very rude) representative to see if there are any other flight options and they mentioned that there is only 1 flight out of Belize in the next 2 weeks. If our flight is cancelled what are our options? Are there any other options besides waiting 2 weeks for the next flight, or instead paying another airline $1000+ (for 2 of us, an additional $700 more than we paid)? Seems pretty ridiculous for Southwest to offer only 1 flight out of a foreign country.

We are crossing our fingers that our flight isn't cancelled.

Thanks for any help!

Southwest has non-stop flights from Belize to Denver, Houston, and Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, January 21st. If the 2:10pm non-stop to Denver is canceled your best bet is the 5pm flight to Houston, then get the 1020pm flight from Houston to Denver. That's the second option listed when you search for a flight from Belize to Denver on southwest.com.

I would put decent money on the flights operating as scheduled, the amount of snow predicted in Denver is not anything unusual and is well within normal operating levels. But, airlines do weird things. Good luck!
