Hi,
Why is my son being charged for departure tax from Grand Cayman? He is 3 and should be exempt from the tax. Spoke to Southwest rep and they told me that they they are not responsible for the taxes and can't do anthing about it and I need to go to the travel.gov site. Someone please help. Thanks.
Children under the age of 12 are exempt." and: "Departure Tax: There is a CI $20.00 or US$25.00 departure tax for the Cayman Islands that is included in the price of your airline ticket. "Sep 15, 2013

Might be a software issue, was there a place to put his age on the ticket?
