International Flight with Plane Change

My family is traveling to Jamaica.  We depart from Austin and change planes in Houston.  There is only an hour between when we arrive in Houston and depart for Jamaica.  Will we have to go through security again in Houston before boarding the plane?

You will not have to go through security again on the way to Jamaica.  You can connect directly from your incoming flight onto the Jamaica one.  With that said, you will have to clear the proper security procedures when you arrive back into the US from Jamaica before getting on any domestic connections.
