SW 943 HOU - MEX on a Friday - how long does it take for immigration/customs?

This flight is scheduled to arrive in Mexico City at approximately 8:45 PM. How long does immigration/customs take at this time, particularly on Fridays? I have a Friday flight at the end of December, and am trying to determine if I will have sufficient time to catch an internal flight later that evening. The internal flight is scheduled 1 hour 25 mins later.

Are you a local, or coming from the USA? I'd round up if coming from out of country whatever the other estimates are here.

We are US citizens, not local. We will have checked in online already for the internal (Interjet) flight though, so hopefully that should help? Also, we will only have carry-on luggage.
