I recently signed up for the southwest plus card. It showed and incentive of 200 statement credit after first purchase (I bought plane tickets with it immediately at approval) along with 40000 bonus points after spending $1000 in the first 3 months. Has anyone actually received both of these benefits on their new cards? Everyone I see online from other consumers with the card says they were only give the 200 credit and only 10000 points.

There are a few different offers in the market at the same time, and this has resulted in some confusion. Customers receive one of the following offers: either a $200 statement credit + 10,000 bonus points OR 40,000 points after spending $1,000 within the first three months of opening your card. I hope this helps clear things up!
