Companion Fares

If I 'qualify' for Compion fares this year, when do those Companion Fares expire?  Can I book a flight in November of '19 for a flight in Feburary of '20 and use the Companion Fare?

You may use the Companion Pass when it is earned through Dec 31 of the year it expires.  This could land a few different ways.

1. If you get the current Rapid Rewards Chase promo, that comes with CP through the end of this year -- 2019.  You must travel by that time, so no, you would not be able to book for travel next year.
2. If you earn the CP the normal way, you get it from when you qualify through the end of the next calendar year and can use the pass at any point during that time.

The short answer is that it has to be used by the expiration date that appears on the Companion Pass.
