In reference to the points, yes I booked in Mexico and certain hotels were offering huge bonus points for staying there. It wasn't my hotel of choice, so I wish I could get an answer from SW, because if I am not going to get the points this year, I will likely cancel and book at a different hotel. I'm not giving up on this!!!

I’m in the same position but my hotel stay is on the 22nd.  From other travel blogger sites I’ve read they seem to think southwest hotels post within a few days.  The shopping portal says 6-8 weeks for posting which makes more sense that they wouldn’t post immediately.  Good luck!  I know it’s frustrating-I am so close and will be very disappointed if my 10,000 hotel points don’t post until after December 31st 🤞
