I'm purchasing a ticket for my sister to travel. Unfortunately I will not be able to take the trip. I was wondering how to purchase the ticket for her and still get the points.
Thanks for your help.

Only the person(s) flying can earn RR points. You can purchase the flight for someone else, just put their information in the "Who's Flying" section of the checkout screen. If you include their RR number they will get RR points (assuming you are not booking the flight with points).

If you use the Chase Southwest Rapid Rewads Credit card to make the purchase, you will earn 2X the amount in points.
