Companion selection RR number entry?

Hi I just added my companion pass and it did not give me to put his RR number in there. As a result it created a new RR account. Is there anyway to link his current RR number without it counting as 1 of my 3 changes?

I don't have a definitive answer, but I suspect it would not count as you are not changing the name of the companion. This sounds like a great question to ask via the Chat function within the Southwest app as you would already be logged into the account and authenticated and they can quickly make the edit. Please reply when you do get an answer so we all know what Southwest said.
