I have a flight purchased but need to cancel. I purchased most of the flights (for my wife and myself) with a gift card. Will the funds be given to me via travel funds, even for the gift card?
Just worried they will not give me anything for that money.
Thanks.

My understanding is that company is issuing travel funds when a traveler cancels a reservation.
It is also my understanding the SW does not have a way of refunding money to a gift card.
A credit card: yes. A gift card: no

You should at least get Travel Funds back. Was the balance that you paid from cash/credit or was it a travel fund?
As @dfwskier mentioned Southwest has no method to refund to a gift card, so that would come back as travel funds no matter what.
