We are flying to Belize this coming March. I have already booked our flights from Spokane to Belize City. Booking our flight there was not a problem as there several options and flights almost daily. There, however, are very few options for the return trip from Belize. Seems to only be a flight a week. Why are there so few SW flights from Belize City to Spokane? Will there be more flights opening up in a few weeks or months?

The most likely issue is the required layover time at the international gateway airport - perhaps DEN - by the time the Belize flight gets there, allowing for time to go through customs, re-check, and boarding. That one day each week that it works may have a later flight to Spokane than the other days? (And/or the flight from Belize gets in earlier.)

Hey there, thanks for reaching out. We're excited to have you onboard with us to Belize!
To echo what @DancingDavidE said, there is a window of time in which a connecting flight must depart, and our flight schedule may not always align with the BZE arrivals to get you on a flight to GEG in that window.
One helpful tool is the Low Fare Calendar here: swa.is/LowFareCalendar
This allows you to see which days of the month that route is available. Hope that helps!
