Hi I had two quick questions I couldn't find an answer to. I applied almost two weeks ago and I wanted to know how long it takes to figure out if they are interested in hiring you and if they aren't will I get an email or response saying I wasn't chosen for the position? Have a nice day!

I've never applied to work for Southwest but I'm a regular in the discussion forums and my understanding is that so long as you still see a status listed in your dashboard then you are still in the running.  See this post for an extreme example:
