Station Transfers

Can you tell me if you offer the employees the option to transfer to anther station in another state due to a life changing family situation (i.e. hospitalization of spouse, dependents or other immediate family, spouse employment relocation, employee health reasons etc.)

Thanks for your question on Community and your interest in working at Southwest!  Our Airport Operations Employees do have the option to transfer laterally based on operational need.  And, as the positions are unionized, it would be based on seniority per the contract for that position.  We wish you well in your Career.
