Hi, I'm a SW flight attendant and my 24 year old son is interested in applying for a ramp agent postion. I do not know much about this postition and had a few questions that I wondered if any of you would be so kind to answer or point me in the right direction. Firstly, can someone tell me the duration of training? Is it 6 weeks? I noticed they are hiring in Denver and we live in Orlando. If he got hired in Denver, how long would he be required to stay in Denver? Would he have to wait for a postion to open up in Orlando to transfer? And how likely or often to openings come up in Orlando? I'd also like some information on the payscale and schedule. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.
