If you don’t know Colleen Barrett, you are really missing something special. She is our President Emeritus and when she was the President of Southwest, she was the highest ranked woman in the American airline industry. She helped start this company as she was Herb’s legal assistant, but she her first job was typing bills of lading for a trucking company in Vermont.

Hopefully you heard Red Belly Radio recently when Herb Kelleher was speaking about our history, but this is Colleen’s time to tell us about herself, her philosophies, and about a project she started working on in the late 60s called Southwest Airlines.
