Southwest and the National Hispanic Public Relations Conference

For the second year in a row, Southwest Airlines was named the official airline of the National Hispanic Public Relations Conference. This premier conference gathered more than 500 communication and marketing professionals in Los Angeles to discuss trends, technology, and the fast pace of today’s information.

As Hispanics solidify their standing as one of the nation’s largest groups-reported by the 2010 US Census-the demand for cultural relevant content is growing.  Over the span of three days, this highly regarded conference hosted dozens of Hispanic PR training workshops, interactive VIP events for brands with bloggers, industry leading keynote speakers—including Rosanna M. Fiske, first Latina Chair and CEO of the Public Relations Society of America—and many other activities all focused on giving participants unprecedented opportunities for networking and professional development.

From English to Spanish to Spanglish, the world is changing and so is the way we communicate.  Southwest is proud to sponsor events that promote conversations and action.
