The following blog post was written by a family member of Michael Winchester, a beloved Oklahoma City Employee that we lost due to an act violence on November 15. He will forever be in our Hearts. As a former punter for the University of Oklahoma, Mike will be honored by Southwest and his alma mater at Saturday’s game with a fly-over by a Southwest Boeing 737 (weather permitting).

My family attended the service for Southwest Employee Mike Winchester following his funeral. Talking of the beautiful acts of kindness and service given by other Southwest Employees towards the Winchester family, one speaker said, “I never expected such an outpouring of love from Corporate America.”
