We are thinking about taking a trip to Central America later this year. Out destination will be Guatemala, but SWA doesn't fly there yet. (Petition coming soon.) I see that the closest destination is Belize. Have any thoughts, advice, feedback about flying to Belize on SWA? How was your experience?

I have not yet flown to Belize because they don't offer a nonstop flight from HOU that arrives in the morning.
If you are going anywhere in Belize after landing, you will be taking a puddlejumper flight. These small planes stop flying around dusk, and SWA arrives too late to schedule these. Belize City is a nasty place where I don't want to stay overnight to grt a puddlejumper the next day to go to Stann Creek district.
Other airlines got it right and arrive in the morning.
when SWA executives get their heads on straight and add a nonstop morning flight, I would be happy to use SWA. Until then, I must use United Air Lines.
