On April 12th, I had the Honor accompanying my father a Korean War Veteran and 108 other Veterans from WW II and Korea on a flight of a liftetime. Everyone from the Gate Crew to the Ground Crew, to the Flight Deck to the Cabin Crew. they involved themselves in the celebration of these Veterans and thanking them for thier Service. Our charter aircaraft departed MDW to IAD. The Cabin Crew sang patriotic songs to make it even more wonderful experince. The IAD Gate Crew and Ground Crew was amazing as well. The bound these Crews made with the Veterans is amazing. But I disappointed that the aircraft was not the Illinois 1 aircraft emblesshing the Sate of Illinois flag. Now that would have been a true welcome home and thank you for your server status for these Veterans. SWA you did good, keep supporting our Veterans and thier families
