ESA Letter from a DNP

CptPlanet

I am looking to take my dog with me as I have pretty severe anxiety and due to a recent car crash it has gotten worse.  I have been seeing a DNP for quite a while since the wreck.

From the verbiage on what is needed, I'm not sure if I can use a DNP since he is technically a "Doctor of Nursing Practice" or I will need to schedule an appointment with an MD instead.

Has anybody used a DNP before?

The federal law specifies that:

"The individual providing the assessment (ie ESA letter) is a licensed mental health professional and the passenger is under his/her professional care;"
