My travel funds expire June 2, missed the extension by 2 DAYS! IM SO MAD

I don't feel it's fair. I'm glad they realize that they have to extend it, but they need to recognize that those of us with expirations in June also need to be taken into consideration. This COVID situation isn't drastically different for a matter of 2 days. They need to show some mercy.

You probably should plead your case to SW customer relations:

also another traveller claimed to have found a way to extend expiration dates. DOn't know if it works or not.

If your funds are from a flight that was cancelled between March 1 -May 31, 2020, then your funds will be extended through June 30, 2021.

With some thought, it should be easy to see how one can create a "newly created travel fund due to a flight cancellation between March 1 - May 31 2020" if necessary.

Additionally, it's possible (perhaps likely) that the period currently covered will be expanded at some point, depending on how the country (world) is impacted by the coronavirus situation over the next few months.
