Fingers crossed the Max returns to service sooner than later.

My fingers are crossed that the MAX returns to service with the mechanical, systems and training changes necessary for safe operation.

@chgoflyer I wish you had been able to hear the presentation from one of Southwest's Chief Pilots at Southwest last week, it was super informative and VERY reassuring.

It would have to be.

I'll take safer vs. sooner as well.

I would have loved to hear their take. I've done a huge amount of reading on this subject, beginning right after the first crash, and I realize it's a very complicated situation, with multiple legitimate viewpoints. I'm staying abreast of developments and am cautiously optimistic MAX will return (to everyone's satisfaction) in 2020.
